Faced with the situation that agricultural products such as pumpkins, winter melons, and chili peppers of people in Binh Chuong and Binh Son delta communes fall into a "bumper crop, price drop", and traders do not buy, Thanh Bong Commune Police proactively intervened. From April 12 to 18, with the enthusiasm of youth, officers and soldiers directly connected and purchased agricultural products to help people and organized sales at crowded locations to find stable consumption outlets.
The program has truly become a bridge to tighten the relationship between the Police force and the People. At 28/8 Square, under the night lights, the image of commune police officers and youth union members busily sorting and selling each kilogram of squash and bags of chili peppers to the people.
The most meaningful thing about the program is that all the money collected from selling agricultural products has been spread into deeper human values. Thanh Bong Commune Police have coordinated with philanthropists to use this funding to paint and renovate 3 houses, and at the same time support essential equipment and breeds for 3 households in particularly difficult circumstances, namely Mr. Ho Van Nhiep's household (Nguyen village), Mr. Ho Van Hieu's household and Ms. Ho Thi Huong's household (Cua village). This timely support has helped families have more motivation and means to develop production and stabilize their lives.
Not stopping there, the commune police force also actively mobilized philanthropists to give 70 gifts including rice and daily necessities to people in Mon and Go villages. Each gift given is not only a material sharing but also a valuable spiritual encouragement to make people more confident.
Simple but sincere actions such as repairing houses with the people, giving gifts or supporting the consumption of agricultural products have contributed to building and embellishing the image of Thanh Bong Commune Police soldiers "Serving the People", fostering the strong belief of the masses in the grassroots Police force.
