On March 15, along with voters nationwide, a large number of ethnic minority voters in Can Tho City participated in voting very early, showing a sense of responsibility and concern for the great festival of the whole people.

In Tai Van commune (Can Tho City), a locality with more than 80% of the population being Khmer people, many voters were present early at the polling stations to exercise their citizens' rights and obligations.
Recorded at the polling station of Vien An B Elementary School, polling station No. 24, belonging to polling station No. 7, there were a total of 1,123 voters participating. Right from 6 am, many people came to the polling station. The atmosphere of the election took place seriously and orderly. Before voting, many voters spent time carefully reading the biographies and action programs of the candidates to choose the right people.

Mr. Mai Suon (80 years old), a Khmer voter in the locality, said that although he had previously learned about the candidates, when he arrived at the polling station, he still read it again before deciding to vote for the person he trusted.
For Khmer people who are not fluent in Vietnamese, propaganda is carried out in both Vietnamese and Khmer to make it easier for people to understand," he said.
After completing the voting, Mr. Suon commented that the steps taken at the polling station were guided thoughtfully, quickly and conveniently for voters.

Mr. Kim Thây (79 years old), a Khmer voter in Tai Van commune (Can Tho City), said that early in the morning he took advantage of going to the polling station after arranging family matters. According to him, before the election day, officials also came to his house to announce the voting time from 6 am so that people could actively participate.
According to Mr. Dang Thanh Quang - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tai Van commune (Can Tho City), the locality has a total of 20,536 voters who were finalized according to regulations before 24 hours. The commune organized 27 election groups in 11 hamlets. Immediately after the opening, 27/27 election groups simultaneously opened for voters to exercise their citizen rights.
Mr. Quang said that because the locality has a large Khmer community living there, the propaganda content is carried out bilingually Vietnamese - Khmer, especially at religious activity points. In addition, through the Management Board of pagodas and Salatels, biographies and action programs of candidates are also widely introduced, helping people easily access information and understand their rights and obligations.

At Polling Station No. 1, Area 3, Soc Trang Ward (Can Tho City), from early morning, many voters who are newborns of the Southern Pali Secondary School of Culture were present at the polling station to exercise their citizenship rights.
Tang Sinh Danh Tam (from An Giang), currently in 11th grade at the school, said that this is the first time he has held a ballot to participate in the election, so he feels very happy and excited.
According to Danh Tam, participating in elections is not only a duty but also the responsibility of each citizen. Danh Tam also hopes that delegates after being elected will continue to care for and be close to the people and make many contributions to the development of the country as well as the lives of the people.

Meanwhile, candidate Nguyen Van Chi (from An Giang, 12th grade) shared that participating in the election for the first time made him both happy and nervous. "Last night I almost couldn't sleep, just waited until morning to go vote to choose worthy delegates. Even after voting, I still felt euphoric, very touched," candidate Chi said.

Meanwhile, in Dai Hai commune (Can Tho City), a locality with a large Catholic population, accounting for more than 32% of the population, the election organization was also seriously and in accordance with regulations. Especially in Nam Hai and Trung Hai hamlets, where a large number of Catholics are concentrated, the election opening ceremony was held from 5:30 am; the remaining voting areas simultaneously opened at 6:30 am.

Records in the morning showed that a large number of voters in Dai Hai commune participated in voting with a high sense of responsibility. From officials, party members, elderly people to union members and youth, they were excited to participate in the election. Each voter spent time carefully reviewing the list of candidates to select typical people in terms of qualities, capacity and prestige to be elected to state power agencies.

Notably, many elderly voters, despite their somewhat limited health, still directly came to the polling station to exercise their citizenship rights. In addition, young voters participating in the election for the first time also expressed their joy and pride in holding their ballots in their hands, contributing to the great festival of the country.
