The Military Region 5 Command organized an incense offering ceremony and flower offering to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs.

On the afternoon of October 15, in Da Nang city, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Military Region 5 Command held an incense offering ceremony and presented flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 5.

Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Military Region 5, Colonel Luong Dinh Chung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 5, and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, representatives of agencies and units under the Military Region. The delegates respectfully offered incense and laid wreaths to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap - First Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the Military Martyrs' Cemetery of Military Region 5, the resting place of generals, heroes, and senior officials who have devoted and sacrificed for the Fatherland, the delegates expressed their deep gratitude and promised to follow in their father's footsteps, unite, practice, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

After 80 years of building, fighting and growing, under the leadership of the Party and the protection of the People, the Armed Forces of Military Region 5 have achieved many glorious feats, contributing significantly to the victories of the nation. On this occasion, Military Region 5 was honored to be awarded the Ho Chi Minh Medal by the Party and State for the third time, affirming the great contributions and steadfast fighting spirit of generations of officers and soldiers.
