On January 11, information from the People's Committee of Tu Mo Rong district said that a local household contributed 1kg of Ngoc Linh ginseng for the district to organize an auction. The entire amount will be used to care for the people and develop Tu Tho community tourism village.
The auction of Ngoc Linh ginseng is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of January 14, on the occasion of the village receiving the Decision of the Chairman of Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee on recognizing Tu Tho resettlement village as a community tourism village.
The auction took place in two forms: directly for those participating in the village and online via social media platforms for those who could not attend in person.
The highest bidder will receive 1kg of Ngoc Linh ginseng from 9 to 10 years old, which has high value on the market.
According to Mr. Vo Trung Manh, the Ngoc Linh ginseng auctioned above was donated by a local household, with the aim of helping the district have funds to carry out the work of caring for the people of Tu Tho resettlement village.
This is a noble gesture, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and mutual assistance to develop production of local people. The auction will be public, transparent, and witnessed by local people.
