Recently, a medical team and doctors from the Military Command of Kien Giang province in coordination with the Provincial General Hospital visited and provided free medicine, giving gifts to people in Kam Pot province, Kingdom of Cambodia.
The place where the delegation came to see a doctor and provide medicine on this occasion was a resistance base of the Vietnamese volunteer army when participating in the Southwestern border war.
People here live far from the center, mainly relying on agriculture, so their material, spiritual life and health care conditions are still backward, facing many difficulties and shortages. When the medical team arrived, the local people were very happy to welcome them.
Mr. Nup Phol, a resident, said: Today, the Vietnamese army came to see me and the people for free medicine, so I am very happy. I myself am sick a lot but cannot treat it. I hope to recover from my illness soon so that I can continue to worry about my life. When I finish the medical examination, I will tell the people so they can come here for medical examination."

Not only do they with the spirit of medical ethics but also the responsibility and friendship of the Vietnamese People's Army soldier with the people of your country. In the living conditions, performing the mission still faces many difficulties due to the harshness of the weather, transportation, the area to visit and especially the disagreement about the language but the members of the delegation have always encouraged each other, overcome difficulties to successfully complete the task.
Major Hoang Trong Thien, a specialist 1, a clinic of the Ministry of Military Affairs of Kien Giang province, said: "Before going to the mission, we have been thoroughly grasped the spirit of work to help Cambodian people, K92 teams are performing the remains of the remains.
In addition to examining and providing more than 360 free medicine packages to the staff and people here, the delegation also presented 100 gifts to poor families each worth 500,000 VND. The above action has left many good feelings for the local government and the people of the neighboring country about the image of Vietnamese soldiers in peacetime.

The meaningful work of the armed forces of Kien Giang province has contributed to the government and local authorities of the country to take care of the people's lives, helping them to reduce difficulties and gradually develop. Creating conditions for K92 teams are currently gathering and unloading the remains of volunteers and Vietnamese experts sacrificing on the Cambodian battlefield to fulfill their assigned tasks, bringing comrades and teammates to sacrifice to their motherland.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity to strengthen the close solidarity, maintain and further strengthen the brotherly friendship between the two provinces of Kien Giang and Kam Pot in particular, and between the state and people of Vietnam and Cambodia in general.

Since 2015, the Military Command of Kien Giang province has organized 10 medical examination teams and provided more than 5,000 doses of medicine to people in many communes and districts facing many difficulties in neighboring countries. This act of mutual love further strengthens the solidarity and friendship between the two countries' armies and peoples.
