Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security) has just coordinated with the Criminal Science Institute in Da Nang, along with a number of other accompanying units, to organize health check-ups and give necessities to people in difficult circumstances in Tra Tan commune, Tra Bong district, Quang Ngai province on the occasion of the Youth Month.

Sharing from the representative of the commune government, about 89% of the population is Cor ethnic people living here, life is very difficult, there are no conditions to go to the doctor for treatment, when discovered, the disease is very serious. Therefore, the presence of police officers and doctors brings many joys and surprises to the people here.

With the spirit of youth, youth union members of the units have provided basic medical examination and treatment services such as: General examination, maxillofacial examination, blood pressure measurement, health consultation and free medicine distribution to people. In particular, the program also focuses on propaganda, health education, instructing people on how to prevent common diseases, personal hygiene and eat hygienically.

Along with free medical examinations and medicine distribution, on this occasion, the working group also presented nearly 100 gifts of necessities (rice, fish sauce, salt, cooking oil, ...) to people in especially difficult circumstances. Although small, it contains a heart of sharing and the deep concern of young people for difficult circumstances.
Ms. H.T.N, 68 years old, Tra Oat village, said: "The old lady's house is poor, there are no conditions for medical examination, and if she is sick, she does not know what to do. Today, doctors from all over Da Nang came to see her, gave her medicine to take, and gave her very thoughtful instructions, she was very happy.

The health check-up and gift giving program for people in the mountainous areas of Quang Ngai province of the Youth Union of the units is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism of the youth in joining hands for the community. This activity took place on March 22, not only bringing practical benefits to people in the highlands but also contributing to strengthening military-civilian solidarity, building a beautiful image of Vietnamese youth in the new era
