Inauguration of 20 "Grand Unity" houses for the Bru - Van Kieu ethnic group

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province has just inaugurated and handed over 20 "Grand Solidarity" houses to Bru - Van Kieu ethnic groups in difficult circumstances in Rao Con village.

On November 10, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated with the Party Committee, government, the Fatherland Front of Phong Nha commune and sponsors to organize the inauguration ceremony, handing over 20 "Great Unity" houses to households in difficult circumstances in Rao Con village, Phong Nha commune.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Dao Manh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and sponsors.

After nearly 2 months of construction, 20 "Great Unity" houses have been completed, ensuring solidity, designed in the traditional style of the Bru - Van Kieu people, suitable for the natural conditions and living habits of the people in the mountainous areas. Each house has an area of about 32m2, meeting living needs and adapting to harsh climates.

The construction cost of each apartment is 100 million VND, sponsored by the Central Aviation Fuel Company Limited and Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company. This is a practical activity, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, contributing to helping people in the highlands stabilize their lives and escape poverty.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dao Manh Hung emphasized that the handover of the "Great Unity" house to the people of Rao Con is an act of profound humanistic significance, demonstrating the concern of the provincial leaders, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations and enterprises for poor households and ethnic minorities.

He called on people to unite, make efforts to work and produce, implement the Party's policies and laws, and build the village to improve.

On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to 20 households that were supported to build houses and presented gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties in the area.
