On May 31, Moc Chau Ward People's Committee held the inauguration ceremony of the repair and renovation project of Vat Hong Pagoda and the Chach Vat, Chach Va Ceremony (Buddha statue bathing ceremony) - a traditional ritual imbued with spiritual cultural values of local people.

Vat Hong Pagoda is one of the typical ancient pagodas of Vietnam, dating from the 13th century. This place was once a major Buddhist center of the northern mountainous region, associated with the cultural and religious life of ethnic minorities in the Northwest.
After the repair and restoration process, Vat Hong Pagoda has a more spacious appearance but still retains its inherent ancient and sacred beauty. The project not only contributes to preserving historical and cultural values but also creates a spiritual destination, attracting local people and tourists from all over.

Within the framework of the program, the Chach Vat, Chach Va ceremony is solemnly held. This is a ritual expressing respect for the Buddha, praying for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, and everyone's health, peace and happiness.
A large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists, people and tourists attended, offered incense and worshiped Buddha, immersing themselves in the solemn atmosphere and rich cultural identity of the locality.
