On July 1st, Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH) organized an online conference to launch a campaign to promote social insurance and health insurance (BHYT) policies to celebrate Vietnam Health Insurance Day.
Mr. Kieu Cong Minh - Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance - said that from July 1, 2026, many new regulations of the 2024 Health Insurance Law officially take effect along with the adjustment of the base salary level, thereby expanding the benefits for health insurance participants.
According to Mr. Minh, communication work needs to be implemented drastically so that people understand correctly and fully the policies, actively participate and contribute to the implementation of social security goals.
The campaign takes place from July 1 - 24, 2026, with the goal of developing at least 445 people to participate in voluntary social insurance and 766 people to participate in household health insurance in the province.
The Provincial Social Insurance also assigned targets for each official and employee to strive to mobilize at least 1 person to participate in voluntary social insurance and 2 people to participate in household health insurance, while maintaining sustainable participants until the end of 2026.
To achieve the set goals, the Provincial Social Insurance requires units to promote communication on digital platforms combined with direct propaganda at the grassroots level.
From there, strengthen coordination with the Steering Committee for implementing social insurance and health insurance policies at the commune level and collection service organizations to reach potential target groups and people at risk of interrupted participation.
Thereby, contributing to expanding the coverage of social insurance and health insurance and ensuring social security rights for people in the province.
