This year's Bach Thien Hieu Vi Tien Festival was held at the Golden Ngai Temple (Soc Son, Hanoi) with the support of local authorities and the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Hanoi City.
Dong Huyen Tich, the incense stick of the throne girl - a national cultural researcher, who came up with the idea and successfully organized the ceremony in the previous years. In 2025, it marked the third year of this festival, and Mr. Huyen Tich hoped that the event would not stop at the local scale but will become a big festival, which is widely involved and widespread by the people.
The Bach Thien Hieu Vi Tien Ceremony took place at a special time with profound meaning. Held on the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day (March 10) and in March - the Mother Festival of the Mother worship, which has been recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage.

The festival connects people with their original values, contributing to reviving the tradition of drinking water reminiscent of the origin of the nation. This is also a time to remind Vietnamese people to show gratitude to their ancestors, honor their moral, historical and cultural values.
The highlight of the festival is the ceremony of gratitude to parents, in which many students bring their parents to attend the festival to express their respect, love, and gratitude for their efforts in raising their parents.
The festival is not only limited to traditional rituals, but also expanded to artistic activities such as organizing poetry composition competitions, to honor the workshopists in Vietnamese history.

Mr. Huyen Tich shared that Vietnam also has many stories about the letter Hieu that are not widely known. Therefore, through the poetry writing contest, organizers hope to build stories about the filial piety of Vietnamese people, thereby raising awareness of filial piety in modern society.
Among the performances, some very popular songs are: "Dao Hieu Viet Nam", "Bach Thanh Hieu Vi Tien" composed or written by co-teacher Huyen Tich... with a variety of musical materials, from modern to traditional such as Pop Ballad, contemporary folk songs, Xam or Northwest music.

This is not only an opportunity to show gratitude to parents but also a day for everyone, especially the younger generation, to learn and better understand the letter of encouragement, family values, and love of sharing. The festival will also help connect the community, creating a warm and meaningful space, so that everyone remembers their roots and appreciates what they have" - Mr. Huyen Tich said.
Professor of History Le Van Lan hopes that the festival will be widely and sustainably spread to many places of worship of the Mother to spread the accumulated cultural and moral values, crystallize, sublimate, and include the spirit of gratitude in religious practice.
