On the morning of February 23, the Economic - Budget Committee, Ca Mau Provincial People's Council organized a conference to appraise documents submitted to the 8th Session, 10th Provincial People's Council. One of the important contents being considered is the submission to approve the adjustment of the Ca Mau Provincial Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050.
At the conference, representatives of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee presented submissions and draft resolutions related to 6 key contents. These include adjusting provincial planning; extending the time for capital allocation, supplementing the list and adjusting the public investment plan for 2026; policies to support upgrading and replacing navigation monitoring equipment for fishing vessels; preferential credit mechanisms from local budget capital entrusted through the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; regulations on domestic and international guest reception spending levels and continued application of resolutions on revenue decentralization and expenditure tasks until the end of 2026. The appraisal opinions focused on assessing the necessity, legality and implementation capacity.

On the same day, officials, civil servants, and public employees of administrative agencies and public service units in the province returned to work according to regulations. Records at many units show that the working atmosphere was serious and urgent from the early morning, ensuring continuous work resolution, and preventing delays after the long Tet holiday.
At the Public Administrative Service Center of An Xuyen ward, 100% of officials and civil servants are present on time, quickly receiving and processing dossiers for people and businesses. Although the number of transactions has increased, procedures are still resolved smoothly, ensuring the correct process and deadlines.
The working atmosphere at the beginning of the year also spread in communes and wards in the province. In Tan Thanh ward, immediately after the flag salute ceremony at the beginning of the week, local leaders deployed key political tasks of the year, in which the preparation for the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels was identified as a priority task.
In the field of resolving administrative procedures related to ID cards and electronic identification, on the first working day of the year, there is no congestion like in previous years. Officials, soldiers and support forces guide people to register online, contributing to shortening waiting times.
With the spirit of working disciplined and responsible right from the first day of the year, the power agencies in the locality and the administrative apparatus of Ca Mau province show determination to effectively implement the tasks of 2026, serving people and businesses better.
