The humanitarian month is an annual activity to arouse the spirit of solidarity, spreading the movement to do good deeds to all classes of people.

This year, the program has a special meaning when celebrating 50 years of the liberation of the South, reunification of the country (30.4), the Red Cross and the International Red Crescent Moon (8.5), and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday - the first honor president of the Vietnam Red Cross.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Red Cross Association of Nghe An Province - emphasized: The Association will continue to promote communication, improve the efficiency of humanitarian activities, change numbers in the implementation of the task, call the community to join hands to help the difficult lives, not to be left behind.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, many practical activities were implemented in Anh Son district. The provincial Red Cross coordinates units to build 4 Red Cross houses to poor households, awarded 100 gifts worth 1 million VND/interest to policy families, war invalids and people with meritorious services. At the same time, the program also supports livelihoods for 30 poor women in the village within the framework of the program "Accompanying with border women", organizing free medical examination and granting to more than 200 people, giving 7 wheelchairs to people with disabilities.

In addition, nearly 100 elementary students at Tra Lan school (Phuc Son commune) are supported with nutritional meals, preschool students in Cao village are given clothes and confectionery. The Association also awarded the "Border Cabinet" to the Phuc Son Border Guard soldier and started the construction of two local Red Cross houses. The two families of relatives of martyrs and extremely heavy wounded soldiers have been to their home to visit and give gifts. The total operating value in the day of launch day is over VND 500 million.

With the companion of the authorities at all levels, businesses and humanitarian organizations inside and outside the province, the 2025 humanitarian month in Nghe An expects to continue to spread the spirit of sharing and cohesion of the community, contributing to building humanistic society and sustainable development.
