People join hands to build rural traffic roads in Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh - The nearly 390 million VND rural transport road in Kenh village, Co Le commune has just been completed thanks to the consensus of the people.

Xom Tay, Kenh village, Co Le commune (Ninh Binh province) has just held the inauguration of a 560m long rural road, built according to the motto "People do, State supports". The project has a total cost of nearly 390 million VND, contributing to completing transport infrastructure and creating favorable conditions for people to develop the economy.

The road is concreted with a width of 3.36m to 5.5m. To complete the project, the Construction Design Board and local authorities have organized many meetings to collect people's opinions, survey the current situation, clear ground, dredge, embank riverbanks and mobilize people to contribute funds and labor days in the form of socialization.

Throughout the implementation process, all contents from mobilizing resources to construction are carried out publicly and transparently according to the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit", thereby creating high consensus in the community.

According to local people, previously, the road of Xom Tay was seriously degraded, the road surface was narrow, with many potholes, and was often flooded in the rainy season, causing many difficulties for people's travel. The transportation of agricultural products and goods was also affected, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.

Mr. Vu Viet Thanh - Vice Chairman of Co Le Commune People's Committee - said that this is one of the meaningful projects, showing the solidarity and consensus of the people in building new rural areas. The completion of the road not only contributes to improving travel conditions but also creates motivation to promote socio-economic development in the locality.

The Vice Chairman of Co Le Commune People's Committee highly appreciated the positive response of the people. From contributing funds and working days to donating land and clearing ground, everyone agreed to implement it. This is proof of the strength of solidarity between the government and people in building rural infrastructure, contributing to improving the quality of life and gradually completing the transportation system in the commune.
