On the afternoon of June 27, the working group grasping the situation of the southwestern sea and islands of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command and the authorities of the four provinces of Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, and Soc Trang docked at Squadron 421 of Squadron 42, Coast Guard Region 4 Command, successfully concluding the working trip.
Previously, on June 26, after leaving Tho Chu port, the working group grasped the situation at sea and organized many meaningful activities such as: Organizing flower lanterns, offering incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed and the people who died in the sea, the sacred southwest continental shelf of the Fatherland.

Visit, encourage and give gifts to fishermen working at sea, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard, Fisheries Control, and standing militia ships on duty at sea. Participating in patrolling, inspecting, controlling, propagating, and mobilizing people and fishermen to comply with the law when operating at sea, especially complying with regulations on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing...
At the experience drawing session after finishing the journey, the members of the Working Group pointed out: This trip has helped the authorities and localities have more practical information, better understand the vibrant reality that is happening every day in the Southwest sea and islands, thereby doing a good job of advising and proposing to the leaders of the provinces to direct departments, branches and competent authorities to coordinate better with the Vietnam Coast Guard, directly the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 in protecting sovereignty, maintaining security and safety at sea. Thereby closely linking economic development with ensuring national defense and security at sea.
Major General Nguyen Van Dung, Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 4, Head of the working delegation, respectfully thanked the close coordination of the members of the delegation for the successful survey.
