Many meaningful activities of Thanh Hoa border guards

On Independence Day (September 2, 2024), border posts in Thanh Hoa province have many meaningful activities.

According to Thanh Hoa Border Guard on September 2, as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), Yen Khuong Border Guard Station (Lang Chanh district) coordinated with the Party Committee, government, and organizations of Yen Khuong commune to present 100 national flags to the people of Xang Hang village.

The activity demonstrates national pride and solidarity to promote people's understanding of the history and patriotic traditions of the Vietnamese people.

On this occasion, the Ten Tan Border Guard Station (Muong Lat) also presented 120 national flags to local people, and at the same time promoted and mobilized people to clean up and hang flags to decorate village roads and alleys.

The image of the red flag with yellow star combined with the system of billboards, posters and banners has created a colorful picture, beautifying the country's border during the days of "Independence Day".

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, Hai Hoa Border Guard Station (Nghi Son town) coordinated with the People's Committee of Hai Linh ward, Nghi Son town to organize the presentation of the national flag; propagate and mobilize parishioners of Thuong Chieu parish to hang the national flag at places of worship and in parishioners' homes; and at the same time presented a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh to the people of Phu Dong residential group, Hai Linh ward.

In addition to raising the national flag, in a more intimate and practical way, the Youth Union of Trung Ly Border Guard Station (Muong Lat district), in coordination with the Youth Union of Trung Ly commune, organized haircuts for more than 20 students and people of Kham 1 village. Thereby, to encourage the spirit, prepare the best mindset for the students to welcome Independence Day and confidently enter the new school year 2024-2025.

To ensure security in the area on the occasion of the 79th National Day, from August 30 to September 2, Tam Chung Border Guard Station (Muong Lat) directed local working groups and teams to coordinate with the police, militia, and security and order protection teams of Tam Chung commune to conduct patrols and controls in the entire commune. Through patrols and controls, they contribute to maintaining political security and social order and safety.

Previously, as part of the process of building the "Bright Border Village" point, on August 31, at Pu Dua village, Quang Chieu Border Guard Station (Muong Lat district) coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and organizations to connect with the charity group "Chung mot nhip dam" (Hanoi) to organize the giving of 75 gifts to households; giving 250 gifts and organizing a Mid-Autumn Festival for preschool, primary and secondary school students.

Also on this occasion, the group "Chung mot nhip bat" donated some materials and necessities to the "Charity House" of the unit...
