On the morning of June 28, at the National Relic Site of the Tomb and Temple of Tran Quoc Cong Bui Ta Han in Nghia Lo ward, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized an incense and flower offering ceremony to commemorate the 530th anniversary of the birth of Tran Quoc Cong Bui Ta Han (1496 - 2026).

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully offered incense and flowers, expressing their sincerity and deep gratitude to Tran Quoc Cong Bui Ta Han, a famous general who made great contributions to the cause of expanding, stabilizing and developing Thua Tuyen Quang Nam, the predecessor of the land from Da Nang to Phu Yen (old) today.
Tran Quoc Cong Bui Ta Han, born in 1496 in Chau Hoan (Nghe An), in a famous Confucian family. As a person with great ambitions, imbued with morality and benevolence, determined to establish himself by his talent in running the state and saving the world, using his strength to help the country and pacify the people.
Following the banner of "pleading Le to destroy Mac", he made many great contributions, was appointed by King Le Trang Tong as Bac Quan do đốc, titled Thiếu bảo Trấn quận công and was entrusted with the important task of keeping peace in the border town of Quang Nam at that time (including Quang Nam, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen today).
After completing the task of restoring Le dynasty power in the South Central region and being appointed as governor of Thua Tuyen province of Quang Nam, he gradually established his jurisdiction over this new land, he called on the people and soldiers to reclaim land, establish villages, and attract a large population from the North to settle.
Tran Quoc Cong Bui Ta Han passed away in 1568. To commemorate his merits, the descendants of the Bui family built a temple at Ong mountain, then moved it to Lang forest, now belonging to Nghia Lo ward.
With his great contributions, Tran Quoc Cong Bui Ta Han was granted titles of god many times by feudal dynasties.
The 530th anniversary of the birth of Tran Quoc Cong Bui Ta Han contributes to honoring the historical and cultural values associated with his life and career.
