It is expected that by the end of 2024, Binh Son district and 6 communes will meet new rural standards. Speed up disbursement

As of October 31, 2024, the central budget allocated to the province for new rural construction has been allocated to districts, towns and cities in Decision No. 1398, which is 63 billion VND. The disbursement rate has reached over 90% of the capital plan.

According to Mr. Tran Phuoc Hien - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, the provincial leaders have requested localities to proactively accelerate the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in the area. Currently, the disbursement of capital sources in localities is still low, especially in mountainous districts. The leadership and direction of new rural construction in some localities has not been proactive and drastic. The combined strength of the entire political system and the role of the people in building new rural areas have not been truly promoted.

Mr. Hien said that the province has requested localities to focus on directing more drastically, enhancing the responsibility and role of leaders of local Party committees and authorities in building new rural areas. Focus on disbursing all allocated capital sources and strive to complete the task of building new rural areas in 2024.
