Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, today (8.30), the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued a Decision on the purpose of providing additional funding of 148.586 billion VND to the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to give gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Of which, the gift-giving fee (in cash) is 100,000 VND/person. The subjects are Vietnamese citizens residing in Vietnam (local communes, wards, special zones of Quang Ninh) and have been collected, updated, and granted personal identification data in the National Population Database, established at the end of August 30, 2025.
The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province assigned the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to preside over and coordinate with the Police and related units to carry out propaganda, dissemination, and direction to implement the giving of gifts to people in accordance with regulations, ensuring timeliness, publicity, transparency, completeness, and the right subjects, and preventing loss or negativity.
Quang Ninh Provincial Police directed the Police of communes, wards and special zones to coordinate with specialized units of the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to extract the list of citizens in the National Population Database at the time of 24.00 on August 30, 2025, detailing each village and area in communes, wards and special zones to serve as a basis for making a gift-giving list by transferring to bank accounts or cash.
Agencies in the financial sector, banks and commercial banks in the province urgently deploy tasks, promptly pay gifts to people.
