On October 31, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh - Commander of Military Region 4 led a working delegation with leaders of Thua Thien Hue province to visit and present gifts to people affected by storm No. 6 (storm Tra Mi) in Phu Loc district (Thua Thien Hue).
The delegation presented 50 gifts to 50 households severely affected by storm No. 6 in Lang Co town (Phu Loc district). The gifts included essential items such as rice, instant noodles and dry food.
During the visit, the delegation kindly encouraged, inquired about the health and shared the pain of loss with families who suffered heavy damage due to storm No. 6 in An Cu Tay residential group (Lang Co town).
The Commander of Military Region 4 requested the leaders of Thua Thien Hue province, Phu Loc district and local authorities to continue to pay attention, visit, and promptly provide material and financial support to families affected by storm No. 6, helping them repair and restore their houses and belongings.
Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh requested the Provincial Military Command and Phu Loc District Military Command to continue mobilizing officers and soldiers of the regular army and militia to urgently help local people with the most practical and effective actions, helping people to soon stabilize their lives.
On the same day, the Military Region 4 Command also directed Military Hospital 268 and the Logistics and Technical Department to send officers and doctors to provide health consultations, medical examinations and free medicine distribution to households in Lang Co town affected by storm No. 6.
