According to the decision of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, 9 communes meeting advanced NTM standards include: Son Giang, Son Phu (Huong Son district); Cam Quang, Cam My, Cam Thach (Cam Xuyen district); Tan Dan (Duc Tho district); Thach Son (Thach Ha district); Quang Loc (Can Loc district); Ho Do (Ha Tinh city).
Two communes have achieved model NTM standards, including: Quang Vinh (Duc Tho district) achieved model NTM standards in the outstanding field of security and order; Nam Dien commune (Thach Ha district) achieved model NTM standards in the outstanding field of tourism.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned departments, branches and People's Committees of districts and cities to direct communes to continue maintaining and improving the quality of criteria, focusing on income criteria by developing a comprehensive economy, protecting and improving the environment, promoting cultural values to ensure sustainability in building new rural areas.
The Department of Finance advises the Provincial People's Committee to decide on financial support for rewarding communes that meet advanced new rural standards and communes that meet model new rural standards according to regulations.
People's Committees of districts and cities shall announce communes meeting advanced NTM standards and communes meeting model NTM standards according to regulations.
Piloting the construction of a new rural province, up to now, Ha Tinh province and Huong Khe district are submitting documents to the Central Government to be recognized as a district meeting the new rural standards. When Huong Khe district meets the standards, all 12 districts and towns in Ha Tinh will have met the new rural standards.
According to the plan and set goals, in 2025, Ha Tinh province will meet the standards of a new rural province.
