On February 19, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Party Committee of Squadron 512, Brigade 127, Naval Region 5 Command held a Congress for the 2025-2030 term. This is the Party Committee that the Standing Committee of the Navy Region 5 Party Committee directed the congress to build in advance to learn from experience in the entire Region.
Over the past term, the 512th Squadron Party Committee has led and directed the unit to successfully complete the targets and tasks set by the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term with a number of outstanding achievements such as: Training, combat readiness, defense and foreign affairs, building a disciplined order, disciplining, search and rescue at sea, transportation, drills, etc.
Party work, political work, logistics and technical work were implemented synchronously and effectively. The political and ideological situation of the unit is stable, internally united and unified; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party cells have many positive changes. Continuously from 2020-2024, the Squadron was awarded the title of "Excellent Training Unit" by the Navy Command.
In the coming term, the 512th Squadron Party Committee will focus on thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the Party's resolutions and directives at all levels; building a clean and strong Party Committee, a comprehensively strong, exemplary and exemplary Squadron, excellently completing the management task, firmly protecting sovereignty and maintaining a peaceful and stable environment in the southwestern sea of the Fatherland.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 512th Squadron Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 5 comrades; elected a delegation to attend the 16th Congress of the 127th Brigade Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 32 official delegates and 4 absent delegates.
