On October 10, the Youth Union and the Women's Union of the Internal Political Security Department (PA03) of Quang Tri Provincial Police coordinated with the People's Police Academy, Ha Phuong General Construction Company Limited, and Viet An Eye Hospital to organize the charity program "Joining hands for students in the highlands of Huong Linh".
From the morning of the same day, the group traveled more than 200km from Dong Hoi ward (Quang Tri province) to Huong Linh Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Huong Phung commune, Quang Tri province).
At the program, notebooks, pens, and measuring devices were presented to all 480 students and 25 gifts (each worth 300,000 VND). In addition, the program also organizes free eye check-ups and medicine, free haircuts for students at school.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Tung Sinh - Deputy Head of PA03 Department said that this is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the spirit of social responsibility, compassion and sharing of officers and soldiers of PA03 Department People's Public Security, along with the medical team for students and people in mountainous areas facing many difficulties.
Teacher Le Minh Quoc - Principal of Huong Linh Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities thanked the volunteer group for their support and guidance. The gifts are simple, but contain sincere feelings, a valuable source of encouragement to help children become more confident, caring, and studying well in the future.
