In the process of strengthening state management of land in the area, the People's Committee of Hung Ha commune, Hung Yen province discovered and made a record of handling a case of violation of land use for rice cultivation in An Dinh village.
The Economic Department of Hung Ha Commune People's Committee coordinated with An Dinh village to organize a field inspection, working with Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, residing in An Dinh village. Participating in the inspection team were representatives of Hung Ha Commune People's Committee, An Dinh Village Party Committee, Commune Police and grassroots security and order forces.
Through inspection, functional forces determined that Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan had set up a shack, built columns, dug ponds and built bricks on an area of about 50m2 of rice land.
This act is determined to violate the provisions of point a, clause 2, Article 8 of Decree No. 123/2024/ND-CP of the Government on arbitrarily changing the land use purpose of rice land to non-agricultural land without permission from competent authorities.

The specialized agency has requested Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan's family to immediately stop the violation, seriously implement the provisions of land law, and dismantle the items that have been built and restore the original state of the violating land area.
According to Hung Ha Commune People's Committee, the locality will continue to strengthen inspection and supervision of land management and use; promptly detect and strictly handle violations to ensure the correct implementation of land use planning and plans and maintain legal discipline.
