Yen My Parish has 3 parishes and nearly 4,000 parishioners. Over the years, the parish has promoted the tradition of living a good life, practicing religion, respecting God and loving the country, with many outstanding results in implementing the doctrine and teachings of God; actively participating in the construction and development of the homeland.
Highly appreciating the results in socio-economic development and taking care of people's lives in Phuc Yen City, Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An affirmed that the development results of Phuc Yen City have positive contributions from Yen My Parish and its parishes.
In particular, Catholics have supported the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and local tasks in cultural development, participated in site clearance, protected security and order in the area, maintained solidarity among villagers, and connected religious people, between religious and non-religious people, and between religions to contribute to building the homeland.
The Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee said that Christmas is a Catholic holiday, but now it has become a common joy for everyone during the Christmas season, regardless of religion. This is a unique feature of Vietnamese society.
