On the morning of April 25, 2026, at the Great Mandala Tower in Tay Thien, Gyalwang Drukpa will perform the bell-ringing ceremony to pray for world peace, officially opening the Dharma Assembly of Great Avalokiteśvara 2026.
The highlight of the Dharma Assembly is the bell-ringing ceremony at Dai Hong Chung Quan Am Tower, a place to send prayers for peace to all places. Along with that, a 150-meter-long Zen Sutra will be opened, carrying a message of peace spreading widely. The song "Light of compassion shines across five continents" also echoes from Dai Bao Thap, as a message of love and sharing to people who are suffering many losses due to war and natural disasters.

According to Gyalwang Drukpa's sharing, the world is a common home, where each person needs to learn to transform selfishness and hatred into altruism, live with love and bond as in a large family.
Within the framework of the Dharma Assembly, many important Buddhist rituals will be organized such as the Great Ceremony to Pray for the Peace of the Avalokiteśvara Tara Yuldog to eliminate obstacles and increase blessings; the Great Ceremony Gia Tri Duoc Su and Dai Dan Sieu Do for spirits, victims of war, natural disasters, and epidemics.
The Dharma Assembly takes place for 3 days from April 25th to 27th, coinciding with the Hung Kings Commemoration Day (March 10th of the lunar calendar). This coincidence creates a meaningful intersection between Buddhist spiritual life and the nation's tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source".
If Giỗ Tổ is an occasion for every child of Vietnam to express gratitude for the merits of building the country of the Hung Kings, then the Great Tribulation of Quan Am Dharma Assembly opens up a space to nurture compassion, guide people to a good life, and pray for national peace and prosperity and world peace.
According to the Golden Diamond concept, 2026 corresponds to the purification capacity of the Quan The Am Bodhisattva - a symbol of great compassion. Therefore, attending the Dharma Assembly and receiving the altar at Tay Thien is considered to have many spiritual meanings, with the direct guidance of Gyalwang Drukpa throughout the 3 days of the event.
