In particular, from the beginning of 2025 to now, implementing the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, entire followers have supported 2,070 houses, with a total value of over 73 billion VND. In An Giang province alone, 628 houses have been built, with a total amount of more than 22.4 billion VND.
"Recently, the impact of storm No. 11 on people in the North. Thereby, believers must raise their vigilance, proactively prevent, detect, fight, and stop plots of peaceful developments, sabotage activities of hostile forces; methods and tricks of all types of crimes, social evils, traffic safety, fire prevention, etc.
Over the past 5 years of implementing the above model, people and Buddhists have provided over 3,500 criminal denunciations, helping the police force fight and clarify over 2,000 related cases of over 6,300 law violators. Social security work was coordinated between the two sides to mobilize 165 billion VND to help support poor households and households in difficult circumstances; build houses, bridges, rural roads, buy ambulances to transfer to the hospital for free; provide free medicine to thousands of people across the province.
Deputy Head of the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha Nguyen Thanh Hoai also added that from now until the end of 2025, the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha will coordinate with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of An Giang province, An Giang Provincial Police and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province to build a total of 110 houses for poor people with difficult housing circumstances in the area.
