Vietnamese artists wear traditional costumes to parade to celebrate Vesak

Ho Chi Minh City - Artists Trinh Kim Chi, Le Tu, Lam Vi Da... wear ancient costumes with a parade to celebrate Buddha's Birthday.

On the evening of May 24, the procession of the palanquin to invite the Buddha's birth statue and the parade celebrating the Buddha's Birthday Vesak 2570 took place on the streets: Su Van Hanh, Ngo Gia Tu, Le Hong Phong extended and 3 Thang 2 street. This is an annual spiritual event organized by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists and people to attend.

In which, the appearance of the cast of artists in the parade made the atmosphere even more attractive, contributing to spreading the message of compassion and peace of the Buddha's Birthday season to the community.

According to reporters' records, a large number of Buddhists and people were present to welcome the parade. Close to departure time, the atmosphere became even more bustling when the cast of artists appeared in colorful ao tac and Nhat Binh ancient costumes.

Witnessing the artists appearing together, many people and tourists were also attracted, joining the parade towards Vietnam Quoc Tu (Hoa Hung ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

After passing through the streets, the group of artists turned to Vietnam Quoc Tu to witness the solemn Buddha Bathing ritual. The appearance of the artists in traditional robes not only brought liveliness to the festival night, but also harmonized to create a solemn space to celebrate the Buddha's Birthday.
