Ho Chi Minh City - Bodhi Zen Monastery is the first religious facility to be granted a red book by Tam Thang ward since the local government operated 2 levels.

On the afternoon of August 6, Tam Thang Ward People's Committee (HCMC) held a ceremony to award Certificates of Land Use Rights (red books) to Bo De Zen Monastery (78/14 Binh Gia Street). This is the first case in the ward to complete procedures for issuing and awarding red books to religious establishments in the area, since implementing the 2-level local government model.

Chairman of Tam Thang Ward People's Committee Le Xuan Tu sent congratulations to the Board of Trustees and Executive of Bo De Zen Monastery for officially being granted a Certificate of Land Use Rights. This is an important foundation for Bo De Zen Monastery to continue to operate stably and promote the good values of religion in social life. At the same time, continue to maintain solidarity and attachment with local authorities and people to jointly build Tam Thang Ward to become better and better.

Mr. Le Xuan Tu said that due to some objective reasons, the issuance of land use right certificates to Zen monasteries has been prolonged. The land plot for which land use right certificates were issued originated from donations by people, so it is necessary to add it to the religious land planning; planning the South Vung Tau area... according to regulations.

After verifying and clarifying, the locality has accelerated the implementation progress, thereby issuing red books and organizing the handover to this religious establishment.

Venerable Minh Tan - Abbot of Bo De Zen Monastery - also expressed his joy and thanked the leaders and officials of Tam Thang ward for their concern and enthusiastic support in helping the Zen Monastery complete the procedures according to regulations. At the same time, he committed to using the allocated land for the right purpose; continue to live "Good life, beautiful religion" and accompany and contribute to the development of the locality.
