Moc Chau officially opened the Cultural and Tourism Week with many attractive activities, imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic groups in the Northwest region.
According to the reporter's records, a large number of people and tourists flocked to the center of Moc Chau district and famous tourist attractions, immersing themselves in xoè and dances, in the bustling sound of drums and gongs, creating a colorful cultural space. Moc Chau plateau appeared with a brilliant scene of flags and flowers.
Mr. Ha Van Duc, Van Ho commune, Moc Chau district said: "Today, participating in the national intangible cultural heritage performance contest, I feel extremely proud and happy to admire the unique ethnic costumes and watch the unique cultural performances of the people.

Particularly notable is the Moc Chau culture and tourism week, taking place from September 1 to September 4, featuring many exciting and attractive activities such as the Mong ethnic cultural space, brocade market, folk games such as Yen fighting, Pao throwing, Tu lu releasing, along with national intangible cultural heritage performance competitions and community culture with the theme "Preserving Heritage - Essence of Identity".
In addition, it not only creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere but also contributes to promoting and honoring traditional cultural values, while introducing the tourism potential of Moc Chau. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Moc Chau district, Son La province, informed that during this year's culture and tourism week, there is something very special, which is that Moc Chau will organize a performance of national intangible cultural heritages, 11 heritages will be recreated at this year's festival.
