Book, AI and art converge at the Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2025

Da Nang - The 3rd "2025 Reading Culture Festival" brings together more than 1,000 books, AI experiences and many unique artistic and community activities.

On the afternoon of September 9, the Da Nang General Library of Science held the opening ceremony of the 3rd "Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2025" with the theme "Give the seeds of knowledge - Light up the future".

The event is part of a series of cultural activities and festivals on both sides of the Han River in 2025, directed by the city's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, directly implemented by the General Science Library, with the participation of many publishing, distribution, media and community requestors.

This year's festival is held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, promising to bring the public a rich and diverse reading culture space.

Outstanding activities include: exhibition, display of information resources, valuable documents, new books, good books; talkshow, talks and topics on reading culture; discovery of AI, learning skills; exchanges of authors, works, book launches; poetry - music nights and special art programs. In addition, there are many community activities such as giving, exchanging books, developing community bookcases, solve solve puzzles, showing documentaries and programs specifically for children.

With a scale of 25 to 30 booths, the Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2025 introduces more than 1,000 books to readers. The event is an opportunity to honor the value of books, affirming the role and position of reading culture in social life; at the same time, creating a useful playground, spreading the passion for reading among students and people of the city, contributing to fostering knowledge, skills and fostering the love of reading culture in the community.

According to Ms. Le Thi Bich Phuong - Director of the General Science Library of Da Nang City, this year's book fair of the library focuses on further promoting the reading culture, with many new points, while creating a close cultural environment for students.

Current libraries have documents and works that are both digital technology and preserve traditional values. The development of the Digital Library and the Traditional Library in parallel is of great significance, contributing to helping children nurture their souls and inner strength during the study and practice stages, Ms. Phuong emphasized.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for the art book arrangement contest with the theme "Youth with reading culture" and the painting contest " Homeland through book pages" for primary and secondary school students in Hai Chau district, to encourage creativity and spread the love of books among young people.

The program takes place from September 6 to 14 at the General Science Library and sidewalk 46 Bach Dang, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City, promising to become an attractive cultural destination, connecting readers from near and far.
