The program is coordinated by the People's Committee of Hai Chau District, Da Nang City and other units to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).
The 80-year journey of the heroic Vietnam People's Army is a topic that photographers are interested in creating. At this exhibition, the organizers hope to bring people deeper feelings about the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" through the perspective of the art of photography.
From 500 works and documentary images of the Military Command, the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port and professional and amateur photographers across the country, the exhibition selected 80 photos by 35 authors.

These are images showing the strength of the military branches, images of the border and islands, from the beloved Nu Village to the officers of the Vietnam People's Army participating in the peacekeeping force in South Sudan... Not only that, each image also shows the utmost affection and dedication that the photographers, photographers and authors have for the Vietnam People's Army.
Also at the program, art performances brought proud melodies through songs praising the silent sacrifices, bravery of soldiers, the beauty of everyday life and the steely spirit in training, fighting and national pride passed down through each generation.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Truong Thanh Dung - Vice Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee - shared that, looking back on the journey of over 80 years, whether in wartime or peacetime, soldiers are always present as a symbol of dedication and sacrifice. They are present in remote areas, border areas or remote islands to protect the Fatherland.
“Certainly, those 80 photos cannot fully express the achievements and contributions of our Army. However, these are the most heartfelt feelings and dedication that the artists, photographers and authors have given to the Vietnam People's Army. They, the soldiers, are always present in the activities of building and defending the Fatherland with the motto of always being ready to fight, not being passive or surprised; as well as international peacekeeping activities, protecting people from natural disasters, storms and floods” - Mr. Dung shared.
