The 2025 Hanoi Food Culture Festival will be held from December 19 to 22 at Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung Ward, Hanoi), bringing a creative cultural space, honoring the quintessence of Hanoi cuisine. This is also an opportunity for culinary artisans to tell their stories, connecting with the younger generation.
At the booth of the Uoc Le Traditional Craft Village (Thanh Oai Ward, Hanoi), people and tourists can watch artisans and craftsmen pounding pigs in traditional style.

Uoc crossbows are famous across the country not only for their deliciousness and safety, but also for their history of more than 500 years of preserving and promoting the tradition of their homeland.
The hand-picking stage is recreated by artisans and skilled workers in the village, bringing to people and tourists a unique experience. The pig-throwing person must be healthy, and the plow must be used just well.
Grind until the fresh meat pieces become sticky and sticky, no longer sticking to the tips of theges but flowing slowly down to the Trees. The meat is grated until smooth, then mixed with delicious fish sauce.
Not only can artists and craftsmen watch pig-breaking, visitors can also directly participate in hand-carried pig-breaking to experience and feel most deeply one of the special stages of making the dish of Uoc Le pig-stabbing.

After experiencing the pig-breaking process with a plow and a stake, Ms. Mai Anh (54 years old, Hong Ha ward) shared that although she had eaten Uoc Le pig-stabbing for many years, this was the first time she witnessed the pig-breaking process and participated in it herself.
This experience helps her understand how difficult the process of making ham is, as well as love and appreciate the culture of making ham in Uoc Le in particular and Hanoi cuisine in general.


While enthusiastically guiding visitors to participate in the experience, Mr. Nguyen Van Linh - an artisan of Uoc Le village feels very proud to bring the village's specialties to the 2025 Culinary Culture Festival.

According to Mr. Linh, to make the taste of the Espected pig's ass requires skillful experience in a whole process, from choosing meat, pounding, seasoning to wrapping pigs. In particular, the cinnamon cha tree over 2m long, weighing 120kg, brought to the festival is considered a top dish of the village.
The plant is giant and elaborate with three layers: the silk pigs in the inner layer, the middle layer is mixed with fat and cinnamon, the outer layer is silk pigs. When baked on charcoal, the yellow cake is even, giving off a characteristic aroma.
In addition to admiring, experiencing, and taking photos, people and tourists are excited to attend the parade - a unique cultural feature of the village of Uoc Le pig-stabbing. After the festival, people can watch the village's pig-shaped ham craftmen perform the prec cinnamon cutting ceremony, enjoying the unique flavor right at the festival.


The 2025 Inca Food Culture Festival has many rich activities with 60 spaces introducing Hanoi cuisine and regional culinary products.
