Existing for nearly 30 years, the "graveyard" beef hot pot restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City is a familiar dining address for many people because of its low price, quality flavor and almost unchanged for many years.
Located on Nguyen Thi Dinh Street, District 2, this special beef hot pot restaurant makes any diner "shudder" because there are many graves behind it. When asked about these tombs, diners were told by the restaurant owner that these were all family members, so they were built next to them for convenient care.
Previously, the restaurant was originally called "Popular Beef Hot Pot". However, over time, diners gradually spread the name "graveyard beef hot pot" to easily distinguish it from other restaurants.

The shop has a simple space, located in the empty yard of an old house. There are only a few stainless steel tables and plastic chairs arranged according to guests' needs and no air conditioning. However, the restaurant is always crowded with customers coming in and out.
A special feature is that the broth here is stewed from beef bones for 11 hours, then the owner slowly adds other ingredients to simmer together. The beef will be set aside for diners to eat directly.
When serving, the restaurant will bring out a thick cast iron pot, with stewed water and some toppings such as tendons, encrusted... placed on a clay stove, burning with charcoal. This way of eating is both unique and suggests simplicity, while also keeping the heat of the food very well.

A full pot of beef hot pot will include beef tendons, beef ribs, beef cartilage, beef, tofu, tofu, noodles, vegetables of all kinds... filling and not inferior to any luxury restaurant. The full hot pot is suitable for 2-3 people. If you run out, you can order additional toppings and will be charged separately according to the price on the menu.
When eating, diners will feel the sweet and rich hot pot broth, fragrant with lemongrass and galangal and not at all greasy. In particular, the beef tendon or cartilage is also very soft because it has been simmered before.

A full cemetery beef hotpot costs 150,000 VND, much cheaper than the average price. If there are more people, diners can order a large hot pot for 200,000 VND.
In addition to young people, the restaurant is also a favorite dining place for many families because it is filling and affordable but still ensures delicious taste and quality.
