Within the framework of the Pho Festival 2026 Program held from March 19-22, at Thien Truong pedestrian street space (Thong Nhat urban area, Thien Truong ward) and Van Cu village (Nam Dong commune, Ninh Binh province) with the theme "Vietnamese Pho - living heritage in the heart of the era".
The program is organized to honor the values of traditional culinary culture, and at the same time promote the image of Ninh Binh tourism to a large number of people and tourists.

The program gathers 50 booths of famous pho businesses and brands in Vietnam selected, participating in performances and promoting images recreating the formation, development and spread of Vietnamese pho through the 3-region pho space.
On the morning of March 19, Lao Dong's records in Van Cu village showed that a large number of people and tourists had experiences about the traditional pho craft, learned about the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine, as well as the cultural values of traditional craft villages.

Ms. Le Thi Thiet - Chairwoman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Culinary Culture Association - shared that pho is not just a dish, but has become a symbol of Vietnamese culinary culture, crystallized from the ingenuity, sophistication and culinary philosophy of Vietnamese people.
In that journey of formation and spread, Van Cu village - belonging to the ancient land of Thien Truong is known as the cradle of the pho profession, where many generations of people have brought family secrets to make delicious bowls of pho, rich in identity to serve people and tourists from all over the country.

From the simple pho stalls of the people of Van Cu village in the past, the pho profession has followed the children of the village all over the country, and then reached out to the world. Wherever there are Vietnamese people, there is the aroma of the pho broth pot, the soft pho noodles and the spreading spirit of Vietnamese culture.

The organization of the 2026 Pho Festival in Ninh Binh aims to affirm the historical source of Vietnamese pho and the continuous development of this culinary heritage through regions and regions. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to honor, preserve and orient the development of the value of Vietnamese pho in the context that this traditional dish has been recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
