The contest attracted quite a lot of participants. Because durian is considered the King of fruits because of its special delicious taste that makes many people "addicted".
At the competition, the Organizing Committee selected 60 teams, each team consisting of two people (one peeler, one eater). The qualifying round was held on August 31 and September 1 with 6 rounds (10 teams each round) to select 6 teams for the final round.
Coming to the competition, the participating teams were very active. The golden, sweet durian segments were more attractive to the players to conquer the title of "Durian Eater".
The final round will take place on the afternoon of September 2. The winning teams in the final round will be awarded a commemorative medal and a voucher for free use of durian products (from 5 to 12 months) from the sponsor.
Krong Pak District is considered the durian capital of Dak Lak Province. The entire district has more than 7,000 hectares of durian, with an estimated output of 90,000 tons.
The 2nd Krong Pac District Durian Festival in 2024 with the theme "Krong Pac Durian - Development and Integration", takes place from August 31 to September 2.
