The version of cakes, cookies... shaped with wingless chamomile flowers was quickly launched before the event of Kpop King G-Dragon (BIGBANG) performing in Vietnam.

In recent days, the name G-Dragon has been mentioned more often on social networks because the leader of the famous Korean band Big Bang is about to have a concert at My Dinh Stadium in June.

The male singer is inherently the one who creates many trends; therefore, brands quickly grasp the trend.

In particular, wingless chrysanthemums are a rich source of ideas for many restaurants and bakeries. without petals chamomile (also known as PMO Daisy or G-Daisy) is a typical symbol of Peaceminusone, a fashion brand founded by G-Dragon in 2016.

G-Dragon first introduced this icon on the cover of Coup d'Etat in 2013 but it was until the Peaceminusone exhibition: Beyond the Stage in 2015 at the Seoul Art Museum (South Korea), it was really shaped as his "personal impression". The lack of petals is located at 8 o'clock - the main figure on the birth of August 18, 1988 of the male artist.

As a 9X generation person, Ms. Cong Bich Phuong - the owner of a bakery in Hai Ba Trung district (Hanoi), revealed that not only G-Dragon but also the whole BIGBANG music group is an idol who has been attached to the youth of her and her peers.

She decided to launch 4 cake models inspired by G-Dragon's symbol more than a week ago.

She said: "These cake models are not simply " Following the trend" as many young people call it today, but that is my true affection for my idol. Through this collection, I also want to spread the beauty of Vietnamese cuisine to international fans".

According to Ms. Phuong, the cakes in the "wingless chamomile flower" collection are varied with the shop's existing cake products to suit the trend. The price of each cake ranges from 35,000 - 80,000 VND, ranging from macaron cakes, mixed cakes to fresh ice cream cakes.

A representative of a milk tea shop in Ba Dinh district (Hanoi) revealed that the fresh ice cream cake model decorated with wingless chamomile flowers has also attracted great attention from consumers.

The shop even dedicated a corner of the store to decorating with daisy-shaped balloons, as well as posting humorous photos with a cup of milk tea to "catch the trend", promote to diners.

As soon as the news of G-Dragon performing in Vietnam was announced, Ms. Duong Ngoc Anh - the owner of a bakery in Dong Da district (Hanoi), quickly posted for sale butter cookies with the flower color painted in grated paper.

"Because this music event has a big impact on many young people and the wingless chamomile flowers are quite suitable for the store's flower cookies, I decided to transform them a little," Ms. Ngoc Anh shared.

The price of each cake is about 15,000 VND/ cake and has a shelf life of up to 2 months. Since launching the new cake product, the restaurant has retailed about 150 - 200 cakes; some customers imported and sold 50 - 200 cakes/set.

In addition, many brands have designed unique posters that both help identify brands and take advantage of the trend of celebrating the event of male singer G-Dragon performing in Vietnam. The flowers decorated with pear-shaped flower arranges on cups of milk tea, sweet potatoes, hamburger cakes or cups of water with chamomile make consumers more excited about the upcoming music event.
