Founded in 22, initially just a small stall in Hoi An market, Ba Buoi chicken rice quickly attracted the attention of diners thanks to its unique, simple but sophisticated flavor.

As the number of customers increased, the restaurant moved to Phan Chu Trinh Street - the center of the old town - to better serve.

Up to now, even though Mrs. Buoi has passed away, her daughter - Ms. Hanh - still maintains the family recipe, continuing the restaurant's reputation.

The chicken rice at Ba Buoi Chicken Rice restaurant is cooked from delicious rice, cooked with chicken broth and pineapple leaves. Each grain of rice is golden yellow and fragrant.

Chicken is a type of chicken that is free-range, hunting, naturally sweet, creamy or has whole thighs depending on the dish. Each bowl of rice is usually accompanied by a bowl of typical chili sauce, made by the restaurant.

During the peak tourist season, Ba Buoi chicken rice is almost always packed with tables. Those who arrived late had to stand in long lines outside, waiting for their turn.

According to Lao Dong, the scene of customers jostling and waiting patiently for 20 - 30 minutes to get a table is common during the peak tourist season.

Ms. Minh Thu, a tourist from Thai Nguyen, shared: I have to queue for about 30 minutes to get in. Luckily, the weather was cool, but the sun was probably very uncomfortable. In return, I saw the food coming out quickly, the staff were enthusiastic. I am from the North, so I find the taste quite strange and delicious, the chicken is rich, and when served with corn milk, it is very delicious.

Due to the large number of customers, many people had to eat quickly to give the table to the next group. However, the experience of waiting to eat chicken rice has unintentionally become an interesting part, making many tourists remember it forever.

In addition to chicken rice, the restaurant is also famous for mixed chicken salad - a refreshing, sweet and sour dish that is delicious - along with many other dishes such as chicken breast vermicelli, chicken porridge, and coffee beans.

The menu revolves around chicken ingredients but is varied, with prices ranging from 40,000 to 400,000 VND, suitable for many groups of customers.

In terms of space, the restaurant has the architecture of Hoi An ancient house with wooden furniture, clean and neat space. Although always crowded, the staff is still friendly and provides quick service.
