After retiring, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung often shares his daily life on the social network TikTok. Recently, the male artist delighted fans when introducing a delicious and old noodle shop in the old town.
Opened in 1979 on Hoa Ma Street, Hai Ba Trung District, this is known as one of the most "smooth" noodle shops in Hanoi because it only sells from 6:15 am to 9:30 am. On busy days, the restaurant can sell out noodles from around 8am.
Artist Chi Trung also humorously said: "Even if customers come at 9:31, there is no noodles to eat".
The restaurant space is quite narrow, most guests have to sit on the sidewalk and use chairs as dining tables. However, this does not affect the number of diners coming to the restaurant. The special thing about the restaurant is that diners cannot ask for more broth.
A portion of barley noodles includes familiar toppings such as vegetables, sea worms, pork chopsticks... A bowl of noodles is calculated with a suitable portion, easy to eat and not boring. The noodles at the restaurant are made fresh every day, have a light yellow color, are shiny and beautiful.
In particular, artist Chi Trung revealed: "Real customers can ask for more noodles, meat, fried dough sticks, shrimp, but the restaurant never gives them more water. Because the broth here is so delicious, mixed according to a special family recipe and simmered throughout, it is difficult to ask for more".
The broth is sweet and fragrant. Artist Chi Trung also believes that each restaurant has its own flavor, suitable for each person's taste, so it is difficult to confirm which restaurant is the best.
Meat at the restaurant costs from 50,000 - 70,000 VND/bowl, depending on the amount of topping. However, artist Chi Trung affirmed that a bowl of 50,000 VND noodles is a lot and enough for an adult. After many years of eating here, the male artist still loves and wants to return to the restaurant because the flavor is so delicious and special.
