Da Lat has long been Tang Thanh Ha's favorite vacation destination. One year, the pearl of the Vietnamese screen went to Da Lat to rest several times. During her recent return to Da Lat, Tang Thanh Ha revealed beautiful cafes, bakeries, and restaurants that few people know about in the city of flowers.
Emai Dalat
Located on Hoang Hoa Tham street, this is not only a restaurant and cafe but also a cozy homestay. This is almost the place every time Tang Thanh Ha comes to Da Lat, she visits and "makes an appointment to come back".
Regarding the cuisine at Émai's restaurant and cafe, the flavors of the restaurant's dishes are inspired by the countryside of Tuscany, Italy.
Regarding Emai's homestay, there are 5 rooms with unique names: Ivy, Clara, May, Lila, Jasmine. All rooms are surrounded by wood, natural textiles, trees, and fragrant flowers from the small garden, creating a warm, friendly atmosphere. Tang Thanh Ha once shared that she never stopped loving this place, because of the peaceful space with a small garden full of flowers.
Cai Am shop
Located in an old house under a poinsettia tree on Thanh Tam Street, this shop offers visitors rustic family lunches and barbecue parties in the evening. During a recent visit, Tang Thanh Ha ordered a tray of homemade rice including fried tofu, braised pork belly, pickled cucumbers, baby squash stir-fried with garlic and served with white rice.
This family restaurant is not known to many people. The restaurant's menu is relatively diverse, with rustic dishes cooked from local ingredients. Diners can order individual dishes with prices ranging from 40,000 VND to 110,000 VND/dish, or order a set for about 120,000 VND/person.
Le J' Cafe
This small coffee shop located in alley 51 Yersin, is famous for its handcrafted coffees and teas with drinks such as traditional coffee, pour over, cold brew, espresso, cocoa, matcha and tea. This is where Tang Thanh Ha chooses to relax and enjoy the typical flavors of Da Lat.
The shop also often organizes workshops for visitors to experience making coffee and drinks.
Blue Dream Bread
This Blue Dream Bread bakery sells 60 types of bread every day, including lines such as Croissant, Puff Pastry, Danish and Sourdough. Prices range from 45,000 - 90,000 VND/portion.
The shop's cakes are 100% handmade, using naturally grown yeast. Tang Thanh Ha tried the shop's croissants.
