The Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2024 is taking place at My Dinh Athletics Palace (Hanoi) from October 8 to October 13.

Speaking to Lao Dong, player Ko Ping Chung said: "Vietnamese fans are very enthusiastic, so I have high expectations for my second time participating in this tournament. The opponents are getting better and better, so I have to set higher goals and focus my spirit to win the championship."
In Vietnam, Ping Chung finds the cuisine very rich and delicious. He is especially impressed with beef noodle soup. "Every beef noodle soup restaurant in Vietnam is delicious. The noodles are very soft, the broth is rich and flavorful. If you add a little fish sauce, spices and fresh chili, everything is wonderful. It is a dish that I cannot get tired of," this player shared.
Ko Ping Chung was born into a family with a long history of billiards, with his older brother Ko Pin Yi and younger brother Ko Pin Han also being famous players. The three Ko brothers often appeared in many international tournaments and achieved impressive results.
