The exemption of entrance tickets on National Day not only creates conditions for people to access heritage but also contributes to stimulating tourism demand, bringing the cultural values of Hue Ancient Capital closer to the public.
According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, the number of tourists coming to Hue City on National Day 2/9 this year is forecast to increase sharply thanks to the 5-day holiday (August 29 - September 9), increased tourism demand and the city organizing many cultural, artistic, sports, festival, and experiential activities.
The total number of visitors is expected to reach about 535,000, an increase of 173% compared to the same period in 2025. Revenue from tourism services is estimated at about 668 billion VND, an increase of 116%.
In which, the number of overnight tourists is estimated at 125,000, an increase of 36%; international visitors are about 28,000, an increase of 21% compared to the same period in 2025.
