According to the latest weather forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 11, cold air affected the Northern region, most of the North Central region. In the Gulf of Tonkin, there are Northeast winds of level 7, gusting to level 8.
It is forecasted that by the afternoon and night of May 11, cold air will continue to affect other places in the North Central region and some places in the Central Central region. Inland, the Northeast wind will be level 2-3; coastal areas will be level 3-4, gusting to level 6.
The North and North Central regions will be cool, while the mountainous areas of the North will be cold in some places. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions will generally be from 20-23 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas in the North below 19 degrees Celsius.

There are occasional showers and cool weather in the Hanoi area. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is generally 21-23 degrees Celsius.
In the Gulf of Tonkin, there are Northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, rough seas, waves 1.5-2.5m high. From night the wind gradually decreases. The northern sea area of the North East Sea will have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2.0-3.0m high. At night the wind gradually decreases.
On May 11, in the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Nam, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. The rain will gradually decrease at night.
