When there is heavy rain or strong thunderstorms, travel should be limited, especially on mountain passes, high mountainous areas, roads with complex terrain or limited visibility. Tourists need to proactively adjust their itinerary if weather conditions are unfavorable.
During thunderstorms, do not stand under large trees, near power poles, billboards or high structures, because these are areas that may potentially be affected by lightning, strong gusts of wind or fallen trees.
Visitors should prepare raincoats, anti-slip shoes, bags or waterproof items to protect luggage. Electronic devices such as phones, cameras, and video cameras also need to be carefully preserved when moving outdoors in rainy conditions.
In particular, it is necessary to avoid areas along rivers, streams, taluys, foothills and points at risk of landslides during or after heavy rain. Do not try to move through flooded road sections, fast-flowing water or areas that have warnings of danger.
On days when the weather is complicated, tourists should prioritize flexible itinerary, choose safe attractions and prepare alternative plans. If heavy rain, strong thunderstorms or dangerous weather warnings appear, they should proactively postpone outdoor activities to ensure safety.
