According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the past 3 hours, monitoring on satellite images, thunderstorm positioning data and weather radar shows that the areas of wards/communes in Hanoi including: Soc Son, Da Phuc, Noi Bai, Dong Anh, Vinh Thanh, Phu Dong, Thuan An, Thanh Oai, Phuc Thinh, Thu Lam, Phu Nghia, Tran Phu, Hoa Phu, Dan Hoa, Thuong Phuc, Phuong Duc, Ung Thien, Phuc Son, Hong Son, Thuong Phuc, Phuong Duc are experiencing showers and thunderstorms.
The meteorological agency warns that in the next 4 hours, convective clouds will continue to develop further, causing showers and thunderstorms in the above-mentioned wards/communes, then expanding to other wards/communes of Hanoi city. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
