There are times when there is rain and cold weather in Hanoi. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is generally 14-16 degrees Celsius.

In the Gulf of Tonkin, strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 2.0-3.0m high; in the North East Sea (including the sea area of Hoang Sa archipelago), strong northeast winds of level 6, especially in the northeastern sea, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 3.0-5.0m high.
Due to the influence of cold air, from the night of March 29 to April 2, in the North and Central Central regions, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
