The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for April 20th in regions across the country. Accordingly, hot weather shows no signs of returning to the North.
The Northern region, Thanh Hoa and western Nghe An have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms are likely to occur with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions are sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places.

Hanoi City
Lowest temperature: 24-26 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 27-29 degrees C.
Cloudy, sometimes showers and thunderstorms. East to Southeast wind level 2-3. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Northwest
Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees C, Northwest region 19-21 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees C.
Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Light wind. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Northeast
Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees C, especially in mountainous areas, some places below 21 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees C.
Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally with moderate to heavy rain. East to Southeast wind level 2-3. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Thanh Hoa to Hue
Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees C.
Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the late afternoon with scattered showers and thunderstorms (concentrated in the West). Southeast wind level 2-3. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
South Central Coast
Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees C, in some places above 33 degrees C.
Sunny day. East to Southeast wind level 2-3.
Central Highlands
Lowest temperature: 18-21 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees C, in some places above 35 degrees C.
Sunny day, hot in some places. Light wind.
Southern region
Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 33-36 degrees C.
Sunny day, hot in some places. Light wind.
Ho Chi Minh City
Lowest temperature: 25-27 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 33-35 degrees C.
