Accordingly, the intertropical convergence zone has its axis at about 10-13 degrees North latitude, connected to a low pressure area at 1:00 PM on September 21st located at about 11.5-12.5 degrees North latitude; 112.5E-113.5 degrees East longitude.
Due to the influence of the convergence zone and low pressure area, on September 22, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the Central and Southern East Sea areas (including Truong Sa special zone) will have showers and thunderstorms. In thunderstorms, there is a high possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind at level 7-8, sea waves over 2.0m high.
All ships operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
On land, the Northern region is cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, sunny during the day, hot in some places, the highest temperature is 31-35 degrees C, in some places above 35 degrees C.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially Hue City and the South Central Coast have moderate to heavy rain, locally very heavy rain.
Central Highlands and Southern regions in the afternoon and evening have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
