Northern region hot sunny on September 1st
On September 1st, the Northern region, except for Dien Bien, Lai Chau and Son La, is likely to experience hot sun, with intense heat in some places. The highest temperature is commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 37 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity is 45-50%.
The hot time is concentrated in the period of 11-16 am. Tourists visiting outdoor destinations in Hanoi and the Northern provinces should limit activities in the sun during peak hours, and proactively replenish water and use sun protection measures.
On September 2nd, the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the East of Quang Ngai province will continue to be hot, with intense heat in some places. The highest temperature is commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 37 degrees Celsius; the relative humidity is the lowest at 50-55%.
The hot weather lasts from about 11-17 hours. Notably, the hot weather in the Central region is likely to last until around September 3-4.
Tourists visiting sea tourist attractions, relics and scenic spots in the Central region during the holidays should prioritize visiting in the early morning or late afternoon, and limit staying outdoors for too long during hot weather.
Hot weather combined with low humidity increases the risk of water loss, affecting health, and can also increase the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand.
Visitors should regularly update weather forecasts, especially before moving to outdoor tourist destinations, mountainous areas and areas at risk of heavy rain.
