The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updates the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (April 25) in regions across the country.
On the night of April 24 and April 25, the area from Nghe An to Quang Ngai will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, common rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 70mm. The Southern Gulf of Tonkin area and the sea area from South Quang Tri to Hue will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes with strong gusts of wind at level 6-7.
These extreme weather phenomena can affect agricultural production, causing trees to fall, damage to houses, traffic works and infrastructure. Localized heavy rain poses a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
At sea, strong winds and big waves are dangerous for the operation of ships and boats, people and tourists need to proactively monitor and prevent.
