Weather forecast for tomorrow, July 2, the North, Central and South will continue to have rain, locally over 200mm.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 1, in the Northwest region, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. Some places in Son La, Dien Bien, Lao Cai... recorded over 90mm of rain.

On the evening of July 1, in Nghe An, from South Quang Tri to Da Nang, the East of Quang Ngai, the Central Highlands and the Southeast region will have showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall is about 10-30mm, locally over 70mm.

From the evening of July 1 to July 2, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places having very heavy rain.

Rainfall: 30-80mm, locally over 200mm.

On the night of July 2, the Northwest region will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms. Rainfall: 15-40mm, locally over 80mm.

From July 3, heavy rain in the North will tend to decrease.

People and tourists should be on guard during thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Risk of flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence on steep slopes and small streams in the provinces of Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Da Nang City, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, etc.

From this evening, July 1 to July 3, in the upstream of Thao, Lo, Cau, Thuong and Luc Nam rivers, small rivers in the Northern region are likely to experience a flood, with a flood amplitude of 2-4m on the rivers.

During this flood, flood peaks on small rivers, upstream of Thao River, Lo River, and small rivers are likely to rise to level BD1 - BD2, with some rivers rising above level 2, downstream of Thao River, and Lo River still below level BD1.
